Chilli Crab Apron
by Singapore Souvenirs for Museum Label
Chili Crab is a crab dish first created in the 1950s and is a favourite among Singaporeans. Mud crabs are stir-fried in a thick sauce made primarily of tomato and chilli sauces. Often served with deep-fried mantou or toasted bun to be dipped into the rich sauce.
This much-loved dish can be found from neighbourhood coffeeshops to upmarket chinese restaurants.
